Persona 4: Arena creeps closer to a European launch. Sometime this year.

Looks like the long wait for the European launch of Persona 4: Arena is coming to an end. Whilst the West (and the East) enjoyed the game upon release in 2012 we, the plebs of Europe (not an official name), have been stuck in limbo due to Atlus employing a region lock on the title.

Well, Atlus have now revealed (via Eurogamer) that they have received the PS3 localisation code, and are now waiting on the 360 edition before they submit both to Sony and Microsoft respectively. Then, once they have been approved they'll inform the Persona fans, and the EU fighting community at large about when to expect a copy in stores.

For our trouble, according to Eurogamer, Zen United have promised that fans will get "something nice" for the awkwardly long delay. I'd be happy with a budget release, or even a physical soundtrack.

What about you Polynauts?
