Xbox 720 Unveiled? Images and Specs

What the hell? Take this one with a heaping of skepticism, but there are now several reports flying around that the Xbox 720 (to be called simply "Xbox") will be unveiled in next month's issue of Xbox World Magazine.

"The dev kits have already been used and is said to have a CPU with "four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores." It will also have 8 GB of RAM, Kinect 2.0, Television output and input, directional audio, and best of all Augmented Reality."

Xbox 720 Details

"Editor in chief Dan Dawkins told CVG: "Xbox World has been at the cutting edge of Durango coverage for over 12 months. Unless something really dramatic changes, everything we reveal in our penultimate issue will be revealed long before E3 in June."

Thoughts? The industry is obviously no stranger to detailed mock-ups when a new console generation is looming. I still remember a fantastic looking PS3 design based on a toaster. But Xbox World Magazine seem to be really sticking to their guns on this one.
