"We’ve had a cracking year of soundtracks, as the relevant 30 Days of Gaming has proven, so I think we should honour this wonderful aspect of the industry."
I think the limiter would be simply that no licensed soundtracks could be picked (Think Tony Hawks games), just titles with original scores (Think Skyrim). Good examples from this year would be Double Dragon Neon, Hotline Miami, and Darksiders 2."
Howdy Polygon Community. It's the 2012 Polynauts Awards, chosen by you - the Community! If you're looking to see any other awards you can vote on then why not check out the original thread which contains the complete listing of categories you can nominate for.
So in this thread you're invited to nominate the Best Original Soundtrack of 2012. As long as the title saw a regional release between Jan 1st, and Dec 31st 2012 then anything is fair game.
Just drop your single game of choice in the comments below before 23:59PST on December 31st, and we'll add them to a poll which will start on Jan 1st which will run for one whole week.
Which OST of the past twelve months will win a 2012 Polynauts Golden Paddy? That's up to you folks.
