What game had the best story?
Bioshock
This game was a delight to play. I'm not going to spoil the big things, as its the kind of story you need to experience to get the most out of it. The underground city, the inhabitants and the backstory you pickup from audio diaries left around really colour in the edges of the plot, and everything comes together as a wonderful, cohesive whole. As Atlas would say "Would you kindly go play this game right now?"
