Jail: Consoles Hurting Indie Developers
Most people seem to think that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo should incorporate more Indie games in their gaming lineup. However, on the Idle Thumbs podcast (link goes to a segment of the mp3 file) some weeks back (while talking about "The Unfinished Swan"), the guys mentioned that the problem is actually that putting them on these consoles limits their reach rather than expanding it. They even claim that "The Unfinished Swan" would have been much more profitable on Steam than on PSN.
What are your thoughts?
