Polynauts OT: Gender, sexuality and representation in gaming

Wmojqvh_medium

This thread is for Polygon readers to discuss gender, sexuality and representation issues in video games. It's often seen to be a war between sides, and it shouldn't be anything like that. When all sides are fighting to be heard it can be difficult to filter out the noise (comments like "who cares?") from the conversations that are important.

Rather than derail every other article by going off-topic into oft-ventured territory I'm setting up this thread for everyone and anyone to use in order to discuss the important issues to them. The mods will keep update the OP with articles that you Polynauts feel are important to you, and if the thread gets too long we'll simply start a new thread and continue the conversation.
