Non-WiFi PS3....and WiFi.

Hello everyone! New member here, and this is my first thread. Thanks for having me, folks!

I have a question that, after perusing the interwebs, have not been able to find a true solution for, so I was hoping to get some input from you all.

I own one of the original launch PS3s, the 20gig version that did not come out of the box with built in wifi. As I never had access to it in my house until now, it was never a possibility. Having upgraded that over the holiday, I'm looking to get the console online, sans wires.

From what I can see, there are no official wireless adapters. Would one of those USB-type adapters work? I've heard mixed results from nearly everything I've read, so I could use the input.
