Many gaming companies are quick to point out the graphical leap that next gen consoles bring, increased social integration, and cross device device compatibility. .
This is all great, but if titles are to truly take advantage of next gen, shouldn't they be next gen exclusives, built from the ground up for next gen?
How are Microsoft and Sony going to make a compelling case for early adopters of their respective platforms, when the big titles like Assassins Creed 4 and Call of Duty Ghosts, can be bought on existing platforms.
Don't get me wrong, new IPs are great, but I think these "hardware-moving" franchises should be next gen exclusive, to push early adopters over the fence.
