Okay....i'll be completely fair and not fanboy!
PS4 has TREMENDOUS potential and actually, if USED PROPERLY, they have the superior more tactile motion gaming experience because the controllers location and orientation can be detected. (BIG. DEAL. if you ask me....verrry important to FEEL something in your hands)
System wise, there is literally NOTHING any X1 fan can say bad about Sony's next box. It's more powerful to a degree (this has been spoken on A MILLION times from Digital Foundry and beyond), and it's developed ground up by Mark Cerny who is essentially a MASSIVE BRAIN WITH LEGS......who's done nothing but...EVERYTHING for Naughty Dog's technology for like-EVER. lol!
The launch titles DO leave a bit to be desired, its just a soft lineup. The only major heat titles are really Killzone and Driveclub. Nothing really pulls on the heart strings ala maybe if they announced like....a CLASSIC franchise revisited or something Sony fans had been clamoring for (ala perhaps Last Guardian at launch). Knack looks entertaining, mildly, but ultimately graphically and even in terms of what it's doing gameplay wise....i don't know HOW people are dissing RYSE and NOT dissing Knack. lol! (NO SHOTS)
Overall lets keep it real, SONY proved they can make LANDMARK gaming experiences, but it has always taken them a few years to get their feet under them when starting a generation. I fully expect them to blow everyones brains out again at a later time with untouchable first party games, and maybe later on when Gaikai is in full swing and perhaps they utilize the motion camera capabilities to their FULL potential in conjunction with the Sixaxis controller.
Sony's PS4 is NOT a bad system, it is a fantastic system, that NEEDS MORE GAMES from the door and a more robust lineup for you guys at launch.
See, no hate involved! Love you guys. Now buy an X1...LOL! just kidding!
