Graphics card suggestions...
Hey guys. I am planning on building an HTPC for another room in the house that is going to also act as a Steambox. Currently I am running a GeForce GTX 460.
So, the suggestion I am really looking for is whether I should:
a) Pop this card into my HTPC/Steambox and buy a brand new card
b) Buy a budget card for the HTPC/Steambox and stick with this card in my main machine
Now my main problem is that I don't know what the newer cards out there are like or if we are on the cusp of a new generation of cards. Also, possibly the whole sound and fan issue that comes from having a regular card like the GTX 460 in a home theater situation.
