007 Legends review: die today

007 Legends stitches together some of Bond's most memorable moments from Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moonraker, License to Kill and (appropriately) Die Another Day into one supremely underwhelming first-person shooter. Bond has been injured, and as he plunges into unconsciousness, he reflects on his past exploits. A guy doing a lackluster Daniel Craig impression replaces Connery and his fellow bearers of the Bond mantle, which will either perplex you or send you into hives, depending on your tolerance for that sort of thing. Some of the original dialogue, music and even actors (like Richard Kiel as Jaws and Robert Davi as Frank Sanchez) have been transplanted in. Assassin's Creed 3, 007 Legends among games nominated for 2013 Writers Guild Awards

Assassin's Creed 3 and 007 Legends are among the candidates for the 2013 Videogame Writing Award from the Writers Guild of America, the nominees for which were announced today. Both Assassin's Creed 3 and its PlayStation Vita spin-off, Liberation, were honored with nods from the WGA. Liberation wasn't the only Vita game nominated for the award — Uncharted: Golden Abyss was also selected. Rounding out the list of six are Halo 4 and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. 007 Legends developer Eurocom cuts staff to below 50 employees, shifts focus to mobile

Eurocom, the developer behind the poorly-received James Bond licensed game 007 Legends, reduced its staff from more than 200 to below 50 employees today, reports GamesIndustry.biz. Reports of redundancies at the UK developer began circulating earlier this morning. The studio confirmed the layoffs in a management statement from director Hugh Binns, who said that the layoffs are part of a large-scale restructuring process due the company shifting its focus towards mobile gaming and the cancellation of several upcoming projects. "Eurocom are undertaking a restructuring which I regret to say has meant we've made the majority of our workforce redundant today," Binns wrote, according to GamesIndustry. 007 Legends Skyfall mission hitting PS3 and Xbox Nov. 9

An additional mission based on the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall will be available for 007 Legends on Nov. 9, publisher Activision announced today. This sixth mission will be available as free downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. 007 Legends will hit Steam for Windows PC on Nov. 2 and the Nintendo Wii U in December. The DLC will hit PC on Nov. 20. Activision previously announced two PS3-exclusive multiplayer characters from Skyfall, the agent Eve and assassin Patrice.
