Assassin's Creed 3 life-size statue of Connor Kenway available for pre-order for $3,200

A 6.75 foot tall statue of Assassin's Creed 3's protagonist Connor Kenway is available for pre-order in Europe for $3,200 from French company Attakus. The hand-painted statue which weighs 176 pounds, is delivered in three boxes and is expected to ship out in June. The company — which sells statutes and toys of iconic characters from animations, manga, movies and video games — uploaded a making of video outlining the work involved creating the statue. Attakus' other notable products include a 6.43 foot tall Rabbid from Ubisoft's Raving Rabbids franchise for $2,500, and a diorama of the Millennium Falcon inside the Death Star, depicting the final duel between Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi, for $3,000. Update: The Connor Kenway statue is now out of stock.

Assassin's Creed 3: Tyranny of King Washington trailer shows the bear spirit's might

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for "The Redemption," the last episode in the Tyranny of King Washington DLC trilogy for Assassin's Creed 3. In this trailer, protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton (also known as Assassin's Creed 3 hero Connor) demonstrates the power of the bear spirit when fighting Washington's forces, using its might to send them flying. The bear spirit is the third and final animal spirit to lend its powers to Connor in The Tyranny of King Washington; Ubisoft has previously released trailers showing the wolf and eagle spirits. "The Redemption" comes out on Xbox 360 for 640 Microsoft Points, Windows PC and PlayStation 3 for $7.99 on April 23 and April 24, respectively. It will be available for the Wii U on May 16.

A new trailer from Ubisoft sets up the conflict in "The Betrayal," the second part of the Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin's Creed 3. Following the defeat of the British and the securing of America's fledgling independence, General George Washington instead seizes power for himself to become America's first home-born king. Assassin's Creed 3: Tyranny of King Washington trailer shows off flying eagle powers

The alternate universe of Assassin's Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington imbues protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton — Connor, in the canon storyline — with mystical powers not seen in the main games. Yesterday, we saw him harness the wolf spirit, and today Ubisoft has released a video showing the powers of the eagle. With the powers of the eagle spirit, Ratonhnhaké:ton is able to fly short distances, and he possesses the ability to make a dashing aerial attack on enemies from afar. The Betrayal, the second part of the three-part Tyranny of King Washington alternate-universe storyline, is slated to hit Windows PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 19-20.

Assassin's Creed 3: Tyranny of King Washington trailer shows off Native American cloaking devices

In this latest trailer for the Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 3, we see the mystical powers granted to half-Mohawk protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton — also known as Connor in the "main" universe — via his embracing of the spirit of the wolf. Ratonhnhaké:ton is able to harness the power of the wolf to turn invisible and sneak up on enemies undetected, as well as call fellow members of the pack in to assist him during battle. The Betrayal, the second part of the three-part Tyranny of King Washington alternate-universe storyline, is slated to hit Windows PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 19-20.

Assassin's Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington launch trailer sets the stage for an alternate history

The first episode of the Assassin's Creed 3 add-on campaign The Tyranny of King Washington, "The Infamy," is available today, and it's launch trailer hints at the heavy burden our hero must face. The trailer posted above depicts an alternate ending to the American Revolution, an outcome in which the famously heroic and upstanding George Washington chose to keep his presidency and warp it into a kingship. Ratohnhaké:ton must take down a Washington unlike the one we know from history books: one mad, aggressive and hungry for power. Assassin's Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington episodes dated for March, April

The second and third episodes of Assassin's Creed 3's The Tyranny of King Washington add-on campaign will be released in March and April, publisher Ubisoft announced today. Episode one, "The Infamy," was previously announced for release across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on Feb. 19. The second episode, "The Betrayal," will be released on all platforms one month later on March 19. The final episode, "The Redemption," will be available on April 23. Spike VGA unaired Character of the Year acceptance speeches released

The Spike Video Game Awards aired little more than a week ago on Dec. 7 with almost 30 different accolades handed out to titles both big and small. Like most award shows, the night was full of acceptance speeches from developers, composers, actors, and in some cases, game characters themselves. Borderlands 2's Claptrap took home the award for Character of the Year, but Spike has released the unaired acceptance speeches for the other four nominees. Check out the speech from Mass Effect's Commander Shepard above, and don't forget to watch Raul Menendez from Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo 4's Master Chief and Connor of Assassin's Creed 3 fame below.
