Assassin's Creed titles discounted on PSN

The PlayStation Network is currently running a sale on eight Assassin's Creed titles and several downloadable content packs, Ubisoft digital product lifecycle manager Rommel Hernandez announced today. The sale offers 50 percent off seven DLC packs and 30 percent off titles in the franchise, as well as the Assassin's Creed 3 Season Pass. Assassin's Creed franchise pack up to 75 percent off on Steam

The Assassin's Creed franchise pack, containing every PC title in the series, can be purchased on Steam at a 35 percent discount as part of its Ubisoft sale. Assassin's Creed games discounted 50 percent for Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale

Several games from Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series have been discounted 50 percent today as part of Microsoft's Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale, according to a post on Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb's website. The games and prices include: Assassin's Creed for $9.99 (regularly $19.99) Assassin's Creed 2 for $9.99 (regularly $19.99) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for $9.99 (regularly $19.99) Assassin's Creed: Revelations for $14.99 (regularly $29.99) Major Nelson announced last week that Microsoft is discounting over 60 Xbox 360 Games on Demand titles through next Monday, March 4. The deals, which Major Nelson announces every day on Twitter and his blog, began yesterday with Halo content.


Assassin's Creed Anthology trailer chronicles the Assassins' journey

Ubisoft has collected all five Assassin's Creed console games into the U.K.-exclusive Assassin's Creed Anthology, and a trailer for the box set released today by the French publisher highlights its contents. The Anthology comes with Assassin's Creed, featuring Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad; Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze; and Assassin's Creed 3, featuring Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor Kenway). Sony adding nine Ultimate Editions to PSN including Mass Effect 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Assassin's Creed 3 first-week sales exceed 3.5 million copies, Ubisoft says

Ubisoft estimates it sold more than 3.5 million copies of Assassin's Creed 3 during the game's first week of availability, according to the company's financial report for the first half of its 2012-13 fiscal year. The figure is more than double the number of sales from Assassin's Creed: Revelations' first week in 2011, the report said. Ubisoft's first financial half-year ended on Sept. 30. So while the company's earnings report doesn't factor in Assassin's Creed 3 sales, the game's significant marketing costs — along with those for Ubisoft's other third-quarter releases, including Far Cry 3 — raised selling expenses and led to a current operating loss of €58.1 million ($74.4 million). Assassin's Creed Anthology features all five console games and DLC, according to retail listing (update)

A bundle of every Assassin's Creed console title in the series is coming to retail, according to a listing on Amazon France as reported by Eurogamer. The Assassin's Creed Anthology Edition features the original Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Assassin's Creed 3. In addition, all single-player and multiplayer DLC is included in the collection, as well as five lithographs relating to each game. The collection will be available starting Nov. 28 for €150, or roughly $192, according to the retailer. Ubisoft is yet to officially announce the Anthology. London Philharmonic Orchestra releasing video game music covers, tracks from Portal and Fez

'Assassin's Creed 3' PC delay confirmed, launching November 23rd in UK

The launch of Assassin's Creed 3 for PC will be delayed, Ubisoft confirmed today in a press release, which places its launch in North America on November 20th and in the United Kingdom on November 23rd. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the upcoming Assassin's installment will arrive on October 31st in Europe and October 30th in North America. A Wii U version will also follow, available at the new console's launch. Last month Ubisoft creative lead Alex Hutchinson stated the PC launch would be delayed past the release date of its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.
