Card Hunter gets Attack of the Artifacts expansion later this month

Blue Manchu's adventure strategy card game Card Hunter will receive its first expansion pack later this month, which will add organized league play, new adventures, new cards, monsters and more. Speaking to Polygon, studio founder Jonathan Chey said the Attack of the Artifacts expansion is centered around new adventures for the game's campaign. All the adventures are themed around classic fantasy role-playing game tropes with a "Cardhuntrian spin", and players will also get new cards and player items. Blue Manchu's Card Hunter coming to tablets

Seattle-based mobile game studio DropForge Games announced today that it will bring Blue Manchu's hybrid role-playing and card collection game Card Hunter to tablets. The game first launched on PC in September 2013 and was a result of a collaboration between the independent team at Blue Manchu and the original designer and business manager of Magic: The Gathering, Richard Garfield and Skaff Elias. Card Hunter to be officially released Sept. 12

Blue Manchu's online collectible card game RPG hybrid, Card Hunter, will leave its extended beta and officially release on Sept. 12, the developer announced today. The current beta build of the game, the developer says, is the game's final build and after a day of downtime on Sept. 11, the game will go live. While Card Hunter is free-to-play, allowing players to purchase treasure chests to unlock loot and costumes, Blue Manchu is offering an introductory Basic Edition of the game for $25. Included in the launch package are 11 Treasure Hunt adventures (quests that drop epic quality items if you complete them), a month of Club membership (which boosts loot drops), nine extra figures and 100 pizza slices, Card Hunter's in-game currency.
