Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 isn't coming to Wii U due to budget issues

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will not be coming to Wii U consoles due to budget restrictions that make it too difficult to port the title to Nintendo's platform this late in the development cycle, producer Dave Cox told Eurogamer. "The reason why we are developing it on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is simply because that's the amount of people we got," Cox said. "If we want to do a Wii U conversion, that's another 20 people. We just don't have the resources or the budget to do it." Those required 20 additional staff members would have had be hired by Spanish developer MercurySteam, the studio behind the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, he said. "Game development is about managing resources," said Cox. "You say to yourself, can I take...

New Star Wars and Castlevania game leaked

Earlier today the landing page of GameTrailers TV leaked two unannounced games that will be shown at E3. The page, which has since been replaced, made mention of a new Star Wars game titled Star Wars 1313 as well as Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Neither of these games were officially announced and little is known of them. It is believed that the rumored Star Wars game will feature Boba Fett because the character once used the alias 'CT-1313'. StarWars1313.com has also been registered by LucasArts and currently redirects to the main Star Wars site. A new Castlevania game is less of a surprise, with Lords of Shadow 2 appearing to be a sequel to the 2010 release.
