Despite being one of the top-selling PlayStation Network games last month, sales of Darkstalkers Resurrection were not enough for the game to be considered successful, according to Capcom U.S. senior vice president Christian Svensson. Responding to fan questions in a forum post on Capcom-Unity, Svensson said the fighting game compilation was not high enough on that most-played list, although it was the seventh-highest. Svensson wrote that Capcom is currently "working on promotions" and other plans to "improve the situation," although he considers Darkstalkers Resurrection to be the best executed of Capcom's fighting game digital re-releases.
