Ninja Theory, the studio behind Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and 2013's reboot DmC: Devil May Cry, is aboard the development team for Disney Infinity 2.0, the game's executive producer told a panel at PAX 2014. John Vignocchi said the studio has been on the project since February and was asked on because of their experience in combat systems, which they'll bring to Disney Infinity. Vignocchi said the studio has so far worked on the villains Loki, the Green Goblin, and Ronan the Accuser (from Guardians of the Galaxy.) They've also developed Princess Jasmine from Aladdin, who in the game has the means of summoning a sand tornado, Vignocchi said. PlayStation Vita owners with PlayStation Plus subscriptions will find Smart As... has joined their Instant Game Collection tomorrow, Jan. 28, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog. Climax Studios and XDev Studio Europe's connected collection of brain-training minigames is designed to "foster a sense of community and competition," Nicolo Accordino, assistant producer at Sony Santa Monica, told us ahead of the game's release. Capcom revenue climbed by the millions this fiscal year, rising from ¥82 billion ($820 million) to ¥94 billion ($940 million) in revenue according to the publisher's full year financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. This is despite a lack of results from the company's increased efforts in digital returns, alongside a number of games that failed to meet sales targets. Capcom's Digital Contents Business, a sector made up of console, Windows PC and mobile titles, saw profits fall by over 50 percent. Even more significantly, this arm of the company accounts for just over 67 percent of its total income. Similarly, only three of Capcom's software releases reached over 1 million units in sales. The first of two issues of a Devil May Cry comic that ties in with the events of DmC: Devil May Cry is available digitally today, with a print version coming to comic stores in May. DmC: Devil May Cry: The Vergil Chronicles is a two-part comic that takes place before the game DmC: Devil May Cry. It reveals the backstory of Vergil and Kat and explores history that isn't explained in the game. The first part of the comic is currently available digitally on iPad, iPhone, web, Android and Kindle Fire exclusively through the comiXology app and comiXology.com. The print version of part one will go on sale May 15, with part two going on sale June 19.

Capcom is releasing a costume pack for DmC: Devil May Cry on Jan. 29 that includes a costume for Devil May Cry 3-era Dante, according to Capcom Unity. The Capcom blog announced that the costume pack, which will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will be available for $4 (320 Microsoft Points) and come with Classic (DmC3-era) Dante, Dark Dante and Neo Dante. DmC players can also look forward to the free Bloody Palace mode which is coming "in the near future," as well as the Vergil's Downfall expansion, which is expected at the end of February. The Japanese costume pack for DmC will release on Jan. 30.

Capcom is continuing its holiday sale with discounts on four iOS titles from now until Dec. 28. For the next week Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Devil May Cry 4: Refrain, Resident Evil 4 for iPad and Street Fighter 4 Volt will be available on iOS devices for $0.99. Earlier in the week Capcom announced its Steam and PlayStation Network sales, offering discounts on Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition and Resident Evil 4 HD for PSN, as well as Steam titles Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Street Fighter X Tekken, Devil May Cry 3 and 4 and more.

Capcom is holding a sale for its games on Steam and the PlayStation Network starting Dec. 20, with some titles receiving up to 50 percent off in discounts. On PSN, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition will be discounted from $14.99 to $10.49 (PlayStation Plus members will have it discounted to $7.34) while Resident Evil 4 HD will drop from $19.99 to $13.99 ($9.79 for PlayStation Plus). For PC, Steam's holiday sale will see discounts applying to games like Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Street Fighter X Tekken, Devil May Cry 3 and 4 and more. Capcom Unity has put together a combat overview of DmC Devil May Cry, slicing and piecing together gameplay footage that shows off the game's combat system, advanced combat techniques and the range of combos that players can pull off. A demo for the game was recently released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is expected to launch on Jan. 15, 2013. A PC version will come at a later date.
