In honor of Mother's Day, Bethesda shared a video of Dishonored producer and game designer Seth Shain detailing the ins and outs of his job to his mom, Joanne Davis.
"Clearly, I really don't have any idea what you do," Davis says after Shain asks her about his job. "But, I know that you love what you do."
Davis also reveals that Shain's brother refuses to her let play Dishonored because he's not convinced that she can — a solution Shain suggests remedying by putting the game on easy mode.
You can watch the video above for Shain's job description and some good old fashion mom guilting (a great reminder to call your mother today).
Razer will honor some orders purchased from its online store earlier this week with a 90 percent off code they didn't know about. SimCity gets its first major update on Monday, and Bethesda revealed all those teasers to be The Evil Within, a survival horror game from the creator of Resident Evil. Bids for remaining THQ assets have been submitted and are expected to close in May. We also reviewed the latest DLC for Dishonored, The Knife of Dunwall, which offers a very different story and mechanics from protagonist Corvo's.

Bethesda has released a new trailer for its upcoming The Knife of Dunwall DLC to the critically-acclaimed Dishonored, putting players on the other side of the story as Daud — the master assassin who killed the Empress and got protagonist Corvo blamed for it.
The trailer gives us a short look at Daud's inner conflict as well as his roster of abilities and weapons, like a wrist-mounted crossbow.
Daud is a "dark tragic figure, the other side of the coin of Corvo," Dunwall creative director Ricardo Bare told Polygon at a preview event last month. He's conflicted about having assassinated someone who might have been trying to improve the world for once.
The Knife of Dunwall will release for $10 on April 16 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
In a new video released by Bethesda Softworks today, the co-creative directors of Arkane Studios' Dishonored provide even more insight into the "Golden Cat" E3 gameplay walkthrough demo released last year. The content of the newly released — and strangely late — video will make sense, given it was published on April Fools' Day.
Watch as co-creative directors Raf Colantonio and Harvey Smith explain some of Dishonored's hidden systems, like the player's ability to possess a door or the optional nonviolent approach to dispatching guards by waiting for them to simply die of old age. Stick around for a deep dive into the potted plant simulation mechanics of Dishonored, which are surprisingly complex.
Listen carefully as Colantonio does his best to stealthily mask the sound of giggles...
Bethesda detailed the contents of the first round of downloadable content for Dishonored today, revealing 10 map challenges and 10 new trophies.
The DLC, which was first announced last week, will come with the following Challenge Maps:
Assassin's Run: A true test for accomplished crossbow users, you'll need to quickly eliminate targets as you move through the level. Just be careful not to kill any civilians.
Mystery Foe: Collect the map's four clues without being discovered to investigate which NPC is your assassination target. Complete the level by successfully completing the assassination.
Bend Time Massacre: Each round of this challenge map begins with your character peering through glass and learning your assassination goal. Once you break the glass, the "Bend Time" effect...
The first round of downloadable content for Arkane Studios' Dishonored, the Dunwall City Trials, will push players' assassination skills to the limit with ten new challenges designed to test specific abilities, as shown in a trailer released for the pack today.
The footage above features missions that require everything from stealth, to time-stopping and building-hopping, to good old-fashioned straight-up stabbing. Players can rack up new trophies and achievements and climb a new set of online leaderboards, as well as unlock new challenges and Dishonored artwork.
The Dunwall City Trials pack will be available on Dec. 11 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC for $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points.
A new video released today for Dishonored contains fan-submitted clips showing off bombastic moves, combos and assassinations performed within Arkane Studios' action/stealth game.
Check out the video above for examples of players exploiting Dishonored's sandbox, from stealthy mid-air assassinations to elaborate Rube Goldberg death traps, and be sure to read Polygon's review to see how we acclimated to Dunwall's possibilities.
