Capcom has released an "enemy showcase" trailer for the upcoming Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen featuring a trifecta of baddies awaiting would-be adventurers and their parties.
The first of three enemies shown is the Strigoi, a flying beast that grapples adventurers before impaling them with its scorpion-like tail. The Strigoi is vulnerable to fire, however, and using a self-immolation spell before being attacked will trick them into harming themselves.
The video also shows an enemy dubbed the Living Armor, who fights with a massive sword and shield. When the armor is destroyed, the narrator warns that the spirit becomes something else entirely and will necessitate a switch of strategy.
The last of the new baddies is a giant eye monster called the Gazer, which shoots eye beams, attacks...

A trailer released today on Capcom's YouTube channel for the upcoming Dragon's Dogma expansion Dark Arisen features supernatural fights and boiling corpses — at least according to a translation of the Japanese title.

The $39.99 expansion includes all of the game's original content as either a disc or a download, a new area called Bitterblack Isle, plus 25 new enemies and new treasures.
