Dungeon Defenders 2 hero showcase reveals the Apprentice

The first hero reveal trailer for Trendy Entertainment's tower defense action role-playing game, Dungeon Defenders 2, showcases the Apprentice hero in action during the game's competitive mode. The Apprentice's skills include Flame Bolt that strikes all enemies it is aimed at and a Storm Strike that rains down lightning strikes upon the ground. The hero also posses Overcharge that grants a 3% cooldown reduction per rank to abilities, but enhances the hero's next spell when activated, and a Mana Bomb that releases a pulse of energy, damaging enemies within range. The Stomping Land, the multiplayer survival game set on a dinosaur-populated island

A multiplayer survival game, where players must hunt smaller dinosaurs whilst evading giant carnivores, is in development for Windows PC. The Stomping Land's goal is not starve or get eaten, and ultimately become the dominant tribe on the dinosaur-infested island. As described in the video above, players can kill small dinosaurs with their bow, but larger dinosaurs are unaffected by the weapon, so players must discover other means to topple them. As carnivores are attracted by the smell of blood, hunters have to work fast to gather meat and buy time by creating traps to slow the bigger creatures down. Dungeon Defenders 2 coming to a PC, Mac, Android and browser near you

Dungeon Defenders, Trendy Entertainment's tower defense action role-playing game, is getting a sequel for Windows PC, Mac, Android and web platforms, and is already in pre-alpha, the company announced on its official blog today. "We're incredibly excited to finally get to show what we've been working on to the world," Trendy Entertainments marketing director Philip Asher told Polygon. "There's a lot of new things in this sequel and we're hoping our fans like our vision for the new game." The sequel includes richer lore and is more focused on story than the original title. Humble Indie Bundle 7 ends with $2.65 million in sales, $10 million to charity to date

The latest Humble Indie Bundle has come to a close with $2.65 million in total sales over a two-week period, according to the official site. Nearly 400,000 bundles — a mix of nine indie video games, game soundtracks and documentary Indie Game: The Movie — were sold. Thanks to contributions made during Humble Indie Bundle 7, the group has raised more than $10 million for charity, according to Humble Bundle's Jeffrey Rosen. The latest Humble Indie Bundle combines six indie video games, six soundtracks and the film Indie Game: The Movie in a pay-what-you-want deal that benefits both independent game developers and charities. Humble Indie Bundle 7 features The Binding of Isaac and its Wrath of the Lamb expansion, Closure, Shank 2, Snapshot and Indie Game: The Movie. Buyers who pay more than the average price — currently around $6.00 — will also get Dungeon Defenders and Legend of Grimrock as part of their purchase. Dungeon Defenders fourth DLC pack now available on consoles

Dungeon Defender's final edition of the four-part DLC pack, The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards IV: Sky City, is now available on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, Trendy Entertainment announced today. The package first released for Steam in July. Sky City, the conclusion to the Eternia Shards storyline, introduces a new campaign mission, Boss Rush challenge mission, weapons, accessories and a new pet. Players can also now level up to 90 and access the Ultimate Loot tier. The DLC pack is available for $4 on PSN and 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade. Dungeon Defenders released on Oct. 19, 2011, and combines tower defense with role-playing elements. You can buy it on PSN for $14.99, or Xbox Live Arcade for 1,200 Microsoft Points.
