EscapeVektor dev bringing Blast 'Em Bunnies to PS4, PS Vita, 3DS

EscapeVektor creator Nnooo is bringing its new title, a pick-up-and-play endless shooter called Blast 'Em Bunnies, to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in 2014, the Australian-based indie developer announced today. With the ultimate goal of keeping their bunny alive as long as they can, players are tasked with defending their burrows from an onslaught of evil bunnies. Players can use weapons such as a carrot rifle, turnip mortar, watermelon pip machine gun or bean railgun. Weapon upgrades and special ammo types such as heat-seeking chilli seeds, exploding raspberries and pumpkin bombs can be purchased via in-game coins. Cubemen 2 first indie Wii U game to offer cross-platform play

Nnooo, the Australian developers behind the abstract puzzle game EscapeVektor, is releasing Cubemen 2 on Nintendo's Wii U, making it the first indie game to offer cross-platform multiplayer and user-generated content on the system. The title features a single-player mode and the multiplayer mode supports up to six players. Currently, there are 4,000 user-generated levels created on other platforms, which Wii U users will have access to, along with customisable Cubemen skins and global leaderboards. EscapeVektor studio developing new game for PS4

Nnooo, the Autralian developer behind the abstract puzzle game EscapeVektor, received approval from Sony to develop new titles for its PlayStation 4 and PS Vita platforms, and is currently working on a new title for numerous platforms including those under Sony's umbrella, VG247 reports. Creative director Nic Watt issued a statement acknowledging the studio is receiving early access to PS4 development kits. "It's exciting to be developing for a new generation of consoles. This week's PlayStation Plus update gives subscribers free access to Foosball 2012 and a 20 percent price cut on EscapeVector, along with deeper discounts during Sony's upcoming "13 for '13" sale, the company announced today. Grip Games and 3Division's Foosball 2012 is a foosball game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita that supports cross-platform play as well as local and online multiplayer gaming with up to four players. EscapeVektor launching on PS Vita next Tuesday

EscapeVektor, a fast-paced puzzle game from Australian developer Nnooo, will launch on the PS Vita PlayStation Store next tuesday, the studio announced on PlayStation Blog. The title (which is also already available for 3DS and WiiWare) casts the player as Vektor, a sharp angle stuck within a CPU, who must solve a series of mazes in order to escape. To do so, Vektor will have to trace the perimeter of "nodes" within the computer, all the while dodging sentries with well-timed boosts of speed and obstacles built into the environment. Check out the trailer above to see Vektor in action. The game will cost $9.99 when it launches Jan. 22, and will be discounted 20 percent for PlayStation Plus subscribers until Feb. 5.

Bit.Trip Saga, escapeVektor and Wario Land 2 arrive on the Nintendo 3DS eShop

The Nintendo eShop for the 3DS received three new original titles today and a slew of retail games that are now available digitally, such as escapeVektor, Wario Land 2 and Bit.Trip Saga. The three original titles hitting the store today are escapeVektor ($9.99), PIX3D ($3.99) and Riding Stables 3D ($29.99). In addition, Wario Land 2, which was originally released for the Game Boy Color in 1999, is now available on the 3DS for $4.99. The following retail games are also now available via the eShop: Mario Tennis Open, Pilotwings Resort, Pokémon Rumble Blast and Bit.Trip Saga.

Action puzzler escapeVektor coming to European 3DS and Vita on next week

Retro action puzzle title escapeVektor will be released for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in Europe next week, Australian developer Nnooo announced. The game will hit the PlayStation Network on Dec. 19 for €9.99 (about US $13), and the 3DS eShop on Dec. 20 for the same price. EscapeVektor is all four chapters of the game's original WiiWare version rolled into one.
