Nnooo, the Autralian developer behind the abstract puzzle game EscapeVektor, received approval from Sony to develop new titles for its PlayStation 4 and PS Vita platforms, and is currently working on a new title for numerous platforms including those under Sony's umbrella, VG247 reports. Creative director Nic Watt issued a statement acknowledging the studio is receiving early access to PS4 development kits. "It's exciting to be developing for a new generation of consoles. We're delighted to get early access to PS4 development kits so we can get our games on the console as quickly as possible," he told VG247. This week's PlayStation Plus update gives subscribers free access to Foosball 2012 and a 20 percent price cut on EscapeVector, along with deeper discounts during Sony's upcoming "13 for '13" sale, the company announced today. Grip Games and 3Division's Foosball 2012 is a foosball game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita that supports cross-platform play as well as local and online multiplayer gaming with up to four players. Grip Games released the title on PlayStation Network last July; it usually costs $7.99. EscapeVektor, a puzzle game from Australian indie studio Nnooo, launches tomorrow on PS Vita for $9.99, but Plus members will be able to pick it up at a 20 percent discount for $7.99. The Nintendo eShop for the 3DS received three new original titles today and a slew of retail games that are now available digitally, such as escapeVektor, Wario Land 2 and Bit.Trip Saga. The three original titles hitting the store today are escapeVektor ($9.99), PIX3D ($3.99) and Riding Stables 3D ($29.99). In addition, Wario Land 2, which was originally released for the Game Boy Color in 1999, is now available on the 3DS for $4.99. The following retail games are also now available via the eShop: Mario Tennis Open, Pilotwings Resort, Pokémon Rumble Blast and Bit.Trip Saga.
