Lionhead Studio's Fable: The Journey is now available on Xbox Live Games On Demand for $49.99. The game was originally released in October 2012 as an exclusive Kinect title for the Xbox 360. Its inclusion in the Games On Demand library means it can now be downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace without the need for a physical disc. A free demo of the game is also available for download from Xbox Live.

Lionhead Studios has now released downloadable content for Fable: The Journey, previously only made available with pre-orders of the Kinect title, in addition to a Fable: The Journey "Bonus DLC" pack which currently offers no product description. The former pre-order bonus DLC includes an XP-laying chicken, a gnome who offers commentary during your travels, a Wisp in a Jar which gives your character more health, a shard that gives your character a boost in magic, lucky dice that gives players a five percent XP bonus while travelling by cart, gauntlets of flame, gauntlets of bolt, gauntlets of wisdom, gauntlets of the shard and gauntlets of force. Sony and Microsoft will offer deals on consoles and games for Black Friday, according to information provided by both companies. Sony will discount PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita bundles, as revealed on the official PlayStation Blog. A recap of the most interesting games coming out soon in Japan, courtesy of the reviews section in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine: - The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Evolution (8/9/8/8, 33 points out of 40): The original Zero no Kiseki, released in 2010 for the PSP, solidified Falcom's position as one of the standard-bearers for Japanese RPGs over there. Fable: The Journey protagonist Gabriel may be a simple traveler, but he's got big dreams. He's constantly chastised for losing himself in the fables of powerful heroes that once saved the land of Albion from extinction. When he's separated from his nomadic people, Gabriel finds himself the unlikely next member of this long-ago severed chain of heroism. He must fight to stop an evil force from consuming the land with only his horse Seren, the seer Theresa (sister of Fable's first protagonist) and the occasional straggler to aid him. Microsoft London studio forms to focus on Windows 8 tablet titles

Microsoft Studios announced today a new London-based studio headed by Lee Schuneman, the former production director of Rare. The currently nameless studiowill focus on developing "a long-term business with Entertainment as a Service at its core," according to Microsoft, while working with "Windows 8 tablet devices as the underlying technology and platforms as part of Microsoft Studios' continued expansion across the region."
