A new mod created by Just Cause 2 Multiplayer community member Jman100 allows users to create their own buildings and more within the game's severs. The Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod expands on the game's typically single-player adventures with an online server. According to the creator of this latest mod, Build World is a sandbox-style game mode. "In it, players can, as a community, build their own creations using hundreds of props in a spawn menu," Jman100 wrote on JC2M's forums. "This allows the creation of anything from houses, to small towns, to whatever you can think of." For a look at how Build World works, watch the video above. To play the mod, users can connect to Jman100's server. The Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod is available to download on its website.

Over the course of a 22-day campaign, Mod DB received a total of more than 141,000 votes. Voting wasn't restricted to mods that were released this year; rounding out the top three on the readers' choice list were No More Room in Hell, a cooperative survival horror mod for Half-Life 2 that debuted in 2011, and Rise of the Reds, a 2008 mod that added the Russian Federation to Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour. Here's the full top 10: 10. W...

PlayStation 3 owners living in Europe can now download classic titles like Uncharted, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Infamous through the PlayStation Store, as part of the PS3 Essentials platform, PlayStation Blog announced today. The storefront is similar to the Greatest Hits designation given to select retail PS3 titles, but instead offers shoppers a downloadable option at a similarly discounted price. However, though the titles are discounted from the price of most downloadable PS3 releases, some PlayStation Blog commenters have pointed out that they can be found for even cheaper at retail. The full list of PS3 Essentials is posted below. We've reached out to Sony to find out if a similar promotion is coming stateside. Assassin's Creed - £15.99.00/€19.99/AU$24.95 Assassin's...
