Square Enix will bring Final Fantasy, Thief and more to E3 2013 next week, the company announced today. Square Enix's E3 booth will include a mixture of hands-on demos and "theater presentations." Games set to be on the show floor include Deus Ex: The Fall, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, Mini Ninjas, Murdered: Soul Suspect and Thief. "Square Enix continues to show its global creative presence like no other game publisher with products from its internal studios around the world as well as key partners," said Yosuke Matsuda, representative director of Square Enix. Voice actor and musician Jesse McCartney posted a photo to Instagram today (which has since been removed) teasing that he is currently doing voicework on what appears to be a localization of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX. McCartney posted a photo from a recording studio where footage from Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX was shown on a monitor. The image was captioned with: "For all you 'Kingdom Hearts' Fans. Recording the next chapter! #KingdomHearts #Roxas #Gamers." Kingdom Hearts Insider reports that a clip of McCartney recording battle sounds was uploaded to the musician's Keek account, although this has also been removed. The preview of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix published in this week's issue of Famitsu magazine is the clearest picture yet of what's new with their PlayStation 3 remake of the original Kingdom Hearts and KH: Chain of Memories. Here's a list of the main new stuff you can expect: - Full HD-ification of the visuals, including a bunch of reworked character models and textures.
