Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes free to XBL Gold members in Oct.

Capybara Games' role-playing puzzle game, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, will be free to Xbox Live Gold members from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15, Major Nelson announced today. Clash of Heroes is a prequel to Heroes of Might and Magic 5. The game was first released for Nintendo DS in 2009; it's since been ported to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC and mobile devices. Other announcements include a 33 percent discount on Retro City Rampage and half off unspecified Activision and 2K titles. 2K's sale will run until Sept. 30, while Activision's takes place Oct. 1 to Oct. 7. Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes iOS launch trailer sets the stage

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, Tag Games' port of Capybara Games puzzle RPG for iOS, launches today on the App Store for $4.99, and publisher Ubisoft has released a trailer to celebrate its arrival. The game centers on five different heroes, each with their own special abilities and unique troops which they can manage on the games' puzzle-based battlefield. By connecting three matching units on the battlefield either vertically or horizontally, the player can build defensive walls or offensive formations, as seen in the trailer above. The iOS version adds new multiplayer options to the title as well, including same-screen multiplayer and asynchronous online battles. Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes launching on iOS App Store Jan. 24

Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, the puzzle game adaptation of the classic strategy franchise, will make its long-overdue debut on the iOS App Store on Jan. 24, Ubisoft announced today. The title will cost $4.99 in North America and £2.99 in the U.K., though it remains unclear as to whether that price will cover a universal version of the app, or whether the iPhone and iPad versions will be sold piecemeal. We've reached out to Ubisoft to find out. The iOS port of Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, which was announced last June, was developed by Tag Games, and not Capybara, the creator of the DS and console versions of the title.
