Might and Magic Heroes 6: Shades of Darkness is now live following a delay to the release of the standalone expansion pack.
In light of the launch, Developer Black Hole Entertainment has released a new trailer offering a look at what users can expect from the expansion — namely 15 new units and 20 additional hours of gameplay.
The standalone title will also be available in the Might & Magic Heroes 6 Complete Edition, also out now. That package includes the game and Shades of Darkness, as well as all bonus maps and items, adventure packs and the game's soundtrack. The expansion itself stars Raelag, who debuted in Might and Magic Heroes 5. It also includes a new faction called Dungeon and two new campaigns.
Might and Magic Heroes 6: Shades of Darkness was initially slated to launch...
The latest developer diary for PC strategy game Might and Magic Heroes 6 introduces the new Dungeon faction, set to be included in the upcoming Shades of Darkness standalone expansion.
Featured in the video are creative director Erwan LeBreton and writer Kurt McClung who offer new information about the new faction, as well as background into lore behind the game's dark elves. Try to ignore the fact that McClung seems to be trying out for a straight-to-video Tolkien flick throughout.
Might and Magic Heroes 6: Shades of Darkness is scheduled to arrive May 3 on PC.
