Painkiller: Hell and Damnation DLC out today, focuses on multiplayer features

Painkiller: Hell and Damnation's latest piece of downloadable content, Full Metal Rocket, is out today on Steam and adds new features to the game's multiplayer. The DLC focuses on Painkiller's multiplayer elements, such as new multiplayer maps in HD, new multiplayer skins, new enemies (Executioner and Beast) and a weapon (Mine) and a new Survival Mode, which has its own leaderboard. The DLC also has one new HD Survival Map and one new HD map for all multiplayer modes. Nordic Games' Reinhard Pollice said in a statement that the latest piece of DLC aims to keep players "fully challenged" by giving them a "truly immersive, hellish experience." Who is Nordic Games?

Nordic Games acquired a significant portion of THQ's assets in a recent bankruptcy auction, the latest in a series of acquisitions since Nordic's founding that have built the company's catalog of established intellectual properties. Nordic Games Licensing AB, the Swedish company listed in the court's Notice of Motion document, handled the acquisition as part of Nordic Games Group AB. The Vienna-based Nordic Games GmbH, which was founded in 2011, will handle "the day-to-day business (sales and distribution of said titles, evaluation of sequels & new content[,] etc.) with the acquired portfolio," according to a press release from the company.
