Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud coming to 3DS eShop

Nintendo will release three games from three well-known Japanese game developers — Goichi "Suda51" Suda, Yoot Saito, and Yasumi Matsuno — as downloadable Nintendo 3DS titles through its eShop later this year. 'Sine Mora' landing on PSN soon

Sine Mora is on its way to the PlayStation Network, Digital Reality announced today. The bullet-hell shoot-'em-up co-developed by Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture launched on Xbox Live Arcade in March to a warm reception. Earlier this month, before E3, Digital Reality revealed the existence of a PlayStation Vita version that is due out later this year. "We're excited as ever to bring the experience to yet another platform," said Balázs Horváth, director of publishing at Digital Reality. When asked if the developers are planning any cross-platform functionality between the PSN and Vita versions, a representative for the publisher told Polygon, "Not that I know of." Sine Mora features a striking 2.5D aesthetic described as "dieselpunk" and a unique time-based level progress...

Lollipop Chainsaw coming stateside June 12th

Lollipop Chainsaw, Grasshopper Manufacture's gas-powered, over-the-top zombie-carving game, will launch in North America June 12th, and in Europe June 13th. The announcements came at a Warner Bros. event at GDC 2012, which featured both zombie and cheerleader cosplayers, a combination guaranteed to fill everyone in attendance with unbridled anxiety. Those launch dates line up troublingly well with Grasshopper's commercially tepid June 2011 release, Shadows of the Damned. Then again, that particular game didn't feature some of the elements seen in Lollipop Chainsaw's latest batch of screenshots, which is to say, characters who vaguely resemble Bootsy Collins. We've got our fingers crossed for more cameos by members of the Parliament Funkadelic.
