The debut trailer for ShaqDown, Hiptic Games' side-scrolling smash-‘em-up starring Shaquille O'Neal, gives players a glimpse at the apocalyptic world of the not-so-distant future.
The game is not a sequel to 1994's Shaq Fu, but instead follows O'Neal as he battles mutant zombies to save humanity. Its creators labeled it a "pick up and play actioner" that gamers can enjoy by turning off their brains and playing on instinct.
ShaqDown is slated for launch Jan. 8 on iOS and Android mobile devices. The game was developed with O'Neal's blessing.
