The Australian fighting game tournament Ozhadou Nations will take place in Sydney from Feb. 22-24, with participants eligible for qualifying points for the Evo World Championships in Las Vegas.
Now in its 11th consecutive year, the Ozhadou Nationals is one of the biggest fighting game tournaments in Australia and serves as one of the qualifying events in the lead-up to Evo.
This year the event will hold competitions for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown and King of Fighters 13. More games will be announced as side tournaments closer to the date. Sponsors for the event include Razer, Avermedia, Gamecom, Madman Entertainment, Sega, Namco Bandai and Mindscape.

The world's largest international fighting game tournament, Evolution (better known as Evo) will feature eight games in its competition lineup, Evo's Joey "Mr Wizard" Cuellar announced on a Twitch TV stream today.
Seven of the eight games have already been decided with the eighth game open for voting via charitable donations. The game's that will be played in the competition include:

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition adds a long list of new additions that make the game uniquely suited for Nintendo's new console, notably a fighting stage filled with Mushroom Kingdom power-ups and character costumes based on Metroid, The Legend of Zelda and F-Zero.
The Wii U release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 also adds new modes like Tekken Ball and day one access to extra characters including Unknown, Dr. Boskonovitch, Ancient Ogre and Violet. All that updated content — including the newly added Snoop Lion tracksuits — can be seen in the game's launch trailer.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 comes to Wii U on Nov. 18 in North America.
