The Pinball Arcade developer is designing original tables

FarSight Studios, developer behind The Pinball Arcade, is currently working on designing and bringing to life its own original pinball tables, reports BBC. According to FarSight vice president of product development Bobby King, the company is planning to produce its own tables and has been in talks with "some of the famous pinball designers from the past." King noted that video games could be a low-cost way to test out tables' popularity, with the more successful tables being adapted into physical machines. "Those cost considerations [of the past] are irrelevant when machines are designed only to be built in the virtual world, so imagine what these guys could do if they were given carte blanche," King said. Pinball Arcade extends WMS license, Black Knight 2000 inbound

The Pinball Arcade developer FarSight Studios announced on Facebook that it extended its WMS license. The extension means that a "bunch more" Bally and Williams tables are headed to the pinball simulation platform. First up will be The Black Knight 2000, a table released in 1989 as a sequel to Steve Ritchie's 1980 The Black Knight. Pinball Arcade dev details 2014 plans, including season 3 tables

The Pinball Arcade developer FarSight Studios has big plans for 2014, and the company provided a full list of them in a post on the Pinball Arcade Fans forum yesterday. The third season of downloadable pinball tables for The Pinball Arcade will consist of 10 tables, which will all come out between December 2013 and September 2014. Individual table packs will cost $4.99, while the Pro versions will go for $7.99 each. The full Season Three Table Pack with all 10 tables costs $29.99, and the Pro version is available for $39.99. Pinball Arcade season pass discount now live on PS4

A discounted season pass including tables for FarSight Studios' Pinball Arcade is now available on PlayStation 4, according to an update on the PlayStation Blog. The game, which launched on Dec. 17, features a Season One pass that includes all pinball tables released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Pinball Arcade. This pack of 20 tables was initially planned to launch for PS4 at a discount for players who already own the tables on PS3 or Vita. The Pinball Arcade adding Terminator 2 table

FarSight Studios will release a new Terminator-based table for its pinball sim game, The Pinball Arcade, via the PlayStation Network, lead designer Bobby King announced via the PlayStation Blog. The Terminator 2: Judgement Day table was funded via Kickstarter in July. It raised more than $62,000 of its $59,000 goal with the help of nearly 1,900 backers. The Pinball Arcade coming to PS4, Star Trek and Attack from Mars DLC tables coming this month

FarSight Studios' The Pinball Arcade pinball simulator will be available on PlayStation 4, the developer announced today on the PlayStation Blog. Pinball simulation Pinball Arcade for PlayStation 3 and Vita is getting a new thematic table today based on the The Twilight Zone television series, developer FarSight Studios' lead designer Bobby King announced on the PlayStation Blog. The table is a recreation of the Twilight Zone pinball machine released by game technology company Bally in 1993.
