Marvel mastermind Stan Lee will be a playable character in Beenox's The Amazing Spider-Man, Lee revealed during a recent interview with Addict of Fiction. The interviewer in question actually suggested that Lee make a downloadable cameo in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 — considering a lawyer and war photographer are already in the mix, we suppose a comic book maven wouldn't be too far outside the realm of possibilities.

We've contacted Activision to find out what kind of powers Lee will possess in-game, besides the ability to shout "Excelsior!" with both gusto and believability. Is "inventing Spider-Man" a super power, in the context of a one-on-one fight with Spider-Man? We think it might be.
