RAD Soldiers, an asynchronous, turn-based strategy game for iOS devices, was announced earlier today by Brink developer Splash Damage.
The game tasks players with managing a group of soldiers — presumably of the radical variety — in turn-based combat against AI opponents or online friends. Players will earn coins in each match, which they can use to unlock new soldiers, equipment and other customization options in an online store. The title will be free-to-play, suggesting that items in the store can also be bought with real-life money.
The game will launch on the App Store this June, and will be published by British outfit WarChest Games. Check out the game's announcement trailer below to see the cartoon mayhem commence.
