A former Sony employee's showreel contains footage from cancelled Sony games

The animation showreel of a former Sony employee reveals footage from at least three shelved Sony-exclusive titles.

The showreel by animator Martin Binfield features footage from games like the original Heavenly Sword, LittleBigPlanet for PSP, Medievil: Resurrection, 24: The Game, and GhostHunter. A number of shelved games also make an appearance, including a sci-fi action game (00:23), a lifestyle game (00:26), and a glimpse of the environment of The Getaway 3 (00:30).

The second half of the reel also shows concept animation for what is believed to be the cancelled sequel to Heavenly Sword.

Binfield's CV states that he worked on Heavenly Sword 2 doing game design concepting and character animation in 2008 before the game was shelved.
