Alan Wake's American Nightmare may be coming to Steam

Alan Wake spin-off coming to Steam.

Former XBLA-only title Alan Wake's American Nightmare was found in Steam's registry, indicating the spin-off may be due a PC release.

The entry, which includes the title "alan wakes american nightmare thirdparty", was first spotted by dsogaming and appears to be a recent addition to the Steam registry with a timestamp marked "2012-04-24 01:02:26".

Alan Wake's American Nightmare was initially released to XBLA earlier this year. The stand-alone downloadable title, developed by Remedy Entertainment, delves deeper into the Alan Wake universe and sees the return of both Alan and Barry.

Its predecessor Alan Wake was brought to Steam in February 2012, nearly two years after its release on Xbox 360.

We have reached out to Remedy Entertainment for a comment and will update the story when they respond.
