Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse will include co-op and competitive multiplayer levels, according to Activision.
The upcoming title, set to release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will allow users to play as either Stewie or Brian and use their unique abilities and weapons with or against one another.
Fans will be pit against Family Guy characters in levels themed around the Road to the Multiverse episodes of the animated series, while Stewie's evil twin, Bertram, is also said to feature.
The new title is intended to "tap into the core components of the Family Guy spirit," according to Activision, while using source material from the show, including the voice cast and writers.
Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is scheduled to release this Fall.
