'Worms 2: Armageddon' for iOS now lets you play with friends
The latest free update for Worms 2: Armageddon for iOS will allow for asynchronous play, meaning players will be able to battle each other on different schedules (think: Worms-With-Friends).
The latest free update for Worms 2: Armageddon for iOS will allow for asynchronous play, meaning players will be able to battle each other on different schedules (think: Worms-With-Friends).
Players will be able to make their move, send it to a friend, and wait for the friend to make their move. Players can participate in up to 16 games simultaneously and use Game Center's auto-match facility to find opponents with a similar skill level.
The update, which is available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch versions of the game will make Worms 2: Armageddon more mobile and allow players to compete against each other any time they are connected to the internet.
The update is now available for download. Last week at E3 we interviewed Team17 about their upcoming Worms game for console, Worms Revolution.
