'Sonic Adventure 2' listing appears on Xbox.com for XBLA

A listing for Sonic Adventures 2 on XBLA and PSN was spotted then quickly removed from Xbox.com.

A listing on Xbox.com for an XBLA version of Sonic Adventure 2 was spotted by a NeoGAF user, before being quickly removed from the site.

Screenshots of the website show the game is scheduled for a release date of October 3rd, will include offline multiplayer, leaderboards, and content downloads, while images of PS3 button prompts now fuel speculation the game will be available on the PlayStation store.

Based on the available screenshots, the game is believed to be an HD upgrade rather than simple port.

Sonic Adventure 2 was originally released in 2001. The first Sonic Adventure game was re-released on XBLA in 2010 in honour of the Dreamcast's 11th birthday.
