'LittleBigPlanet 2' playable with PS Vita in new cross-platforming DLC

Multiplayer co-op between PS Vita and PS3 coming LittleBigPlanet 2.

Sony announced at its E3 press conference this evening a new DLC for LittleBigPlanet 2 that will make the game playable with the PS Vita.

The cross-platforming DLC will allow simultaneous multiplayer co-op using the PS Vita and the traditional dualshock controller. The Vita grants players a unique tilting option when navigating and creating levels. The Vita will display a different on-screen perspective from its PS3 counterparts, but both players will be working towards the same level objective. The DLC will also include new story mode elements, costumes, stickers, decorations, and objects for use in level construction.
