Reggie Fils-Aime teases new Pikmin-esque title Project P-100 on Spike TV.
After Nintendo's press conference this morning Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime went on Spike TV to tease Project P-100, a title currently in development by Platinum Games and being published by Nintendo. The game is listed as a launch window title for the Wii U.
The trailer opens with a giant fireball falling out of the sky and crashing into a small city. Upon impact it transforms into a robot and prepares to attack. The rest of the gameplay is strongly reminiscent of Pikmin, with players saving the town's citizens and collecting them into groups. A large group of citizens can transform into robots and manifest weapons in order to combat the alien enemy.
Platinum Games is the Japan-based game development studio behind Bayonetta, Anarchy Reigns, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
