Players who pre-order the game will received early access to the level, which features Dogg watching the fight from afar perched on a golden throne.

In addition to his in-game appearance, Snoop Dogg worked on a new song and music video titled "Knoc Em Down" which prominently features Tekken. In the video, people at a part play strip Tekken and then get into a real fight using over-the-top moves from Namco's fighting game franchise. The song's lyrics mention Tekken, including the goofy, repeated phrase "Tekken a second to blow your mind."

Snoop Dogg made an appearance at a Namco E3 event announcing the collaboration, telling the audience, "Tekken has always been a special game to me." He went on to praise the series as one that "represents real street fighting" and "is not a gimmick."
