Angry Birds Trilogy is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and 3DS this holiday season, developer Rovio announced today.
The physics-based revenge franchise will see its first retail release as a collection of Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio. Rovio calls it "the ultimate collector's edition," but has not yet announced pricing. The company previously confirmed a 3DS release for 2012, and the original Angry Birds launched on the PlayStation Network in January 2011.
On PS3 and 360, the package will include PlayStation Move and Kinect support, respectively, while the 3DS version will offer StreetPass functionality. In addition to being outfitted with high-resolution graphics, the games will now include "new cinematics, extras, and other entertaining content." Rovio isn't yet confirming whether that covers the free mobile updates to the various Angry Birds games.
