Tecmo Koei sells the wrong game in Japan
Japanese shoppers who bought Tecmo Koei's budget re-release of the PSP's Sangokushi VIII were met with disappointment when, upon loading the UMD in their PSP, they discovered they'd actually bought the game's predecessor, Sangokushi VII.
Japanese shoppers who bought Tecmo Koei's budget re-release of the PSP's Sangokushi VIII were met with disappointment when, upon loading the UMD in their PSP, they discovered they'd actually bought the game's predecessor, Sangokushi VII.
Tecmo Koei confirmed the blunder today via a slip notice on the Game City portal site. The content on the UMDs had somehow been mixed up, leading to copies of Sangokushi VIII containing the wrong game.
Tecmo Koei has halted sales of the games and is currently arranging a replacement program so that those who bought the game actually receive the game they thought they were buying.
