Codemasters announced a new addition to its Formula One racing games family with F1 Race Stars today, a new arcade racing game featuring new Formula One cars, teams and circuits.

Codemasters announced a new addition to its Formula One racing games family with F1 Race Stars today, a new arcade racing game featuring new Formula One cars, teams and circuits.

Real-world Formula One champions Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebatian Vettel make appearances as little bobble-head-esque drivers in the stylized and lively animated game, and will drive on Formula One circuits that have been converted into over-the-top racing tracks.

The game will feature racing locations like Monaco, Silverstone, and a new Circuit of the Americans in Austin, Texas. Players can race each other through a four-player splitscreen mode and a 12-player competition.

F1 Race Stars is coming later this ear to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.
