343 Industries will supplement Halo 4 with 10 weeks of post-launch Spartan Ops content, the studio announced at San Diego Comic-Con today.
Starting on Halo 4's launch date, November 6th, 343i will deliver a new episode each week with five chapters' worth of co-op missions, for a total of 50 Spartan Ops experiences. In addition, every weekly update will extend the Halo 4 campaign story with CG cutscenes; the Spartan Ops story begins six months after the events of the single-player campaign.
The "season" of extra content, which 343i says will be about as long as Halo 4's campaign in total, will be available at no additional charge.
