'Sonic Adventure 2' HD remake coming to XBLA and PSN
Sonic Adventure 2 remake confirmed by Sega at Comic-Con.
Sonic Adventure 2, originally a Dreamcast classic, is getting an HD remake for XBLA and PSN, it was announced during Sega's Sonic Boom event at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
As shown in footage taken during the event, the game will be part of an ongoing Sega Heritage initiative and will have a Fall launch window.
Last month a listing on Xbox.com for an XBLA version of Sonic Adventure 2 was spotted, featuring a release date of October 3rd and offline multiplayer, leaderboards, and content downloads.
Sonic Adventure 2 was originally released in 2001. The first Sonic Adventure game was re-released on XBLA in 2010 in honor of the Dreamcast's 11th birthday.
