'Guardians of Middle-earth' sends Gandalf and Gollum onto the battlefield

"Guardians of Middle-earth" battle vignette sends Gandalf and Gollum onto the battlefield.

Guardians of Middle-Earth received a new vignette today, courtesy of Warner Bros. Interactive and Monolith Productions.

The "Battle Profile" video showcases two characters, the wizard Gandalf and Gollum the corrupted hobbit, and their unique skills on the battlefield. Gandalf has a primarily supportive role and can take as well as deal large amounts of damage. Gollum is quick and strong for his diminutive size but has weakened resistance. The pair is just two of the over 20 The Lord of the Rings characters touted for inclusion in the game.

Guardians of Middle-earth is coming to PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade this fall.
