'Ratchet & Clank Collection' gets August 28th release date, 'Sly Cooper' demo
Ratchet & Clank Collection is headed for an August 28th release in North America.
Ratchet & Clank Collection, a compilation of three remastered PS2-era Ratchet & Clank games, is headed for an August 28th release in North America, Insomniac Games announced today on the official PlayStation blog.
"As the celebration of Ratchet & Clank's 10th Anniversary has unfolded this year, we've received your anxious e-mails, tweets and Facebook messages asking us when you can get your hands on the Ratchet & Clank Collection in North America," Insomniac Games' senior community manager James Stevenson wrote. "Today, we can tell you the remaster of three original PS2 Ratchet & Clank games will be available at retailers and via PlayStation Network on August 28th for $29.99!"
The collection, which includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, will feature 1080p resolution, 3D support in 720p, and online play. North American purchasers will also get a Ratchet & Clank 10th anniversary avatar and a demo for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, which is expected to be released later this year.
