'Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies' gets free 'Call of the Dead: Director's Cut' map
"Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies" is getting the "Call of the Dead" zombie rush map.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies, the iOS spin-off of Call of Duty's popular Zombie Mode, is getting the "Call of the Dead" map in a free update this week, Activision's Dan Amrich announced today.
Instead of featuring a group of well-known celebrities – including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, and Michael Rooker – like the original "Call of the Dead" map, the Director's Cut version for iOS will instead pit series' characters Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen against endless waves of zombies in a struggle to see how long they can last.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies was released in December of last year. The "Call of the Dead" map was originally introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops for consoles.
